He returns to Late Night TV with an all new look.... he has a beard. Is Lettermans new beard really a big deal? Apparently to his fans it is. So far most people love his new look. Personally, I do not care if he has a beard or not.
I wonder if rival Jay Leno would dare attempt the beard look, with his extra large "features" (haha). I'm sure it would surely generate some buzz like Letermans Beard has.

See, Lettermans Beard isn't a new look, its an old look for Letterman actually, he just brought it back to kick off the new year of 2008.
Lettermans Beard is not the only facial hair generating buzz right now. Fellow talk show host Conan o Brien started off the new year with a beard also. Some are calling the new beards, "Strike Beards".
